It takes a special type of purrson to want an orange cat, and when you wish for it hard enough, you can bet the Cat Distribution System is listening. On his birthday, after coming back from work at 5 AM, the husband in our story below found his purrfect present just waiting to be rescued. A fluffy orange feline, and not just any orange cat, a female orange cat. For those of you not versed in cat genetics, female orange cats are very rare. So, after searching the neighborhood to see if she was anyone's missing cat, he safely said it was time to bring her into the family.

We understand wanting an orange cat. They're like the golden retrievers of the cat world. They're silly, almost entirely food-motivated, and the only instincts they have are to cuddle and cause chaos. Living with an orange cat is always an expurrience - you never know if you're going to come home to find them hanging by one claw from the living room chandelier or curled up on the couch without even realizing you ever left. Ours is one of the ones that likes to hang from the chandelier.

From one feline fan to another, we know how special it is to get the cat you've always dreamed of having. The joy, the tears, and the feeling of understanding that she came at the purrfect moment. We pawsitively believe that they were brought together for a reason, and we hope that reason was to make each other happy for a number of years to come.
